Built to Support Your District's Core Initiatives

School budgets are tightly scrutinized, and school schedules are packed. Health at Your Fingertips® isn't an "extra thing" to add to your educators' plates — it's a simple, turnkey practice that naturally supports the mandates your school is already measured on.

PBIS Integration (Behavioral Environment): Fosters a proactive, non-punitive environment. Students learn to settle their own bodies before conflict escalates, which naturally lowers classroom disruptions, decreases office referrals, and eases reactive patterns like bullying.

SEL Core Competencies (Emotional Environment): Builds self-awareness and self-management from the inside out. Through simple, gentle acupressure, students learn that they can regulate their own emotions — no one has to do it for them.

AVID Performance Goals (Academic Environment): Supports academic-middle students in closing the gap between potential and performance. When testing anxiety and mental fatigue ease, students have better access to the focus and clarity rigorous coursework requires.

How They Fit Together:

PBIS supports how students act.

SEL supports how students feel.

AVID supports how students work.

Health at Your Fingertips® is the physical bridge that connects all three.

What if your students already had what they needed to settle themselves — before the lesson even starts?

Every principal and teacher knows the chaotic energy of morning arrival, the frantic buzz after recess, the heavy screen-time fatigue of the afternoon. When students are dysregulated, the lesson hasn't even started — and you're already behind.

The solution isn't abstract mindfulness that requires quiet rooms and heavy lesson planning.

The solution is the Daily Clean Your House Flow®.

Using a simple, 9-step sequence of gentle self-acupressure points, students learn to tell their bodies it's safe to settle — clearing mental clutter and restoring their own balance.

  • Zero Prep Time. Overworked teachers don't need to plan a thing. They just press play or follow the reference cards.

  • Under 10 Minutes. It takes less time than a standard morning announcement, and it can save hours of lost instructional time.

  • For a Lifetime. Once a student learns the Flow, it's theirs — a tool they carry into exams, sports, and home life, for good.

A Complete Culture Shift for Your Whole School Community

Real, lasting change happens when everyone in a child's life speaks the same calming language. Health at Your Fingertips® creates a 360-degree ecosystem of support by bringing every stakeholder in:

For Your Educators

A school program can't succeed if the staff is running on empty. Our staff workshops double as a teacher-wellness practice and a practical training session — showing educators how to weave the Flow into morning routines and classroom transitions with ease.

For Your Families
We bring families into the fold with virtual workshops, so the same calming language and routines carry over at home. Parents learn how the Flow supports emotional balance, better behavior, and deeper sleep for their children.

Every Classroom Has a Range of Needs.
So Does This Program.

No two students settle the same way, and Deborah knows this better than most — nearly 30 years of working with kids, from general education classrooms to specialized settings, has taught her that flexibility isn't optional; it's the whole point.

Health at Your Fingertips® is grounded in a simple belief: every body already knows how to find balance. The Flow is a starting point, not a rigid script — and Deborah works directly with your school psychologist, special education team, and classroom staff to talk through how it fits your specific students, including those with IEPs, sensory sensitivities, or trauma histories.

No student ever has to touch a point they're not comfortable touching. For students who don't want to touch their energy points in front of classmates, Deborah teaches a simple alternative: pretend. Visualizing or "pretend-holding" a point works the same way as physically touching it — the body still receives the message and remembers what the point is for. Practiced this way in a group, or practiced hands-on later at home, it's still the Flow, and it still works.

What this looks like in practice:

  • A pre-implementation conversation with your student support team, so the program is introduced with your specific students in mind — not as a one-size-fits-all mandate

  • Ongoing access to Deborah for questions as your team sees how individual students respond

  • A program built on invitation, never force — no student is ever required to participate in a way that doesn't feel safe for them

On the evidence:

Health at Your Fingertips® is field-tested, not a clinical intervention — it's a wellness practice, grounded in acupressure and Jin Shin Jyutsu, supported by real outcomes from the schools and educators who've used it (see below).

We're glad to connect your team directly with administrators and teachers who can speak to their experience firsthand.

Real Stories From Deborah's Practice

(Details changed to protect privacy. These reflect real work Deborah has done with individual students.)

After the Fire

A young girl and her family evacuated ahead of a wildfire with only what they could carry. They made it out safely — but when they returned home, something in her hadn't come back with them. She stopped sleeping. She was anxious and on edge, even surrounded by people who loved her and wanted to help. At night, she was convinced there were monsters under her bed.

Working together, Deborah helped her find a way to move the monsters — first into the closet, so she could see they could move, then further away, until her home felt safe again. As her body's nervous system recognized it was safe to settle, her sleep came back. Her breath deepened. She learned her own version of the Daily Clean Your House Flow, simple points she could hold herself whenever the anxious feeling returned.

Over time, her body's memory of fear was replaced with a memory of calm and ease — something she could return to on her own, long after their sessions ended.

Finding the Words

A young client on the autism spectrum came to Deborah with repetitive behaviors — turning lights and faucets on and off, walking in circles — and real difficulty putting language to what he felt inside. Anxious around anything new, he struggled to express himself in ways others could understand.

Over time, working with Deborah and learning self-help techniques with his family, many of the repetitive behaviors eased. He grew more able to speak, ask questions, and hold a conversation — eventually reaching a point where he no longer needed a classroom aide.

One day he arrived overwhelmed, unable to find his "next step" — unusual for a boy who always had a plan. Rather than asking how he felt (a question that rarely lands for kids who don't yet have a framework for emotions), Deborah asked what had happened. He described watching classmates be cruel to a friend, and not knowing how to help.

Deborah asked what he noticed himself doing with his hands in that moment. He looked down, surprised: he'd been holding his own fingers — one of the very energy points he'd learned. Together, they traced the feeling back: irritation, building toward frustration, building toward anger. For the first time, he connected a physical sensation to an emotional one — and named it himself.

"If I don't feel irritation, I won't feel frustration," he said. "And if I don't feel frustration, it won't get to anger. Everyone should know this!"

That was the moment his family had been waiting for: not just calmer behavior, but a child who finally had language for what he felt — found, in part, through his own hands.

Trusted by Educational Leaders, Proven in Classrooms.

Deborah brings more to the classroom than a technique — she brings a background built for this work. Her degrees in sociology and child psychology, combined with early experience in juvenile law enforcement and family mediation, shaped how she approaches kids who are struggling to self-regulate. She's been doing this since 1995.

Here's what school administrators and students say about working with her:

The District & Administration Perspective

"Deborah's dedication to equipping students with essential life skills is crucial in creating an environment where they can thrive both academically and personally.

With resources like the 'Daily Clean Your House Flow' video and corresponding cards, both students and staff have ongoing support for managing emotions, enhancing focus, and preparing for success across various domains."

— Donje Fields, Area Director at North Bay Children's Center

Real-World Crisis & Resilience Proof

"Deborah was sensitive to the nature of relevant topics in education at the time of our scheduled events.

Our community had just been rocked by some violence in the schools, and while it needed to be addressed, Deborah handled this appropriately for both students and parents in a way which focused on our inner calm and addressing fears, but not increasing anxiety."

— Carley Harp, Principal at Penngrove Elementary School

The Student Perspective

"Hi! My name is Sue. I'm a student in the sixth grade. Our teacher taught us all about the daily flow and now we do it every morning. It is sooo cool, and I love being pumped up when I feel tired and slow. I have even got my brothers starting it! It really is cool. Thanks so much!"
— Sue, 6th Grade Student
