Neck and Shoulder pain

You Don't Have to Know It All Yet

October 15, 2026•2 min read

A woman came up to me after a workshop not long ago.

She works in wound care. She's on her feet all day, and the neck and shoulder tension had been building and building, until it was running her whole day.

I said, "May I show you a few quick energy points? I'm hoping they'll make a difference for you, so this can change up faster."

Within ten minutes, she had no pain. And she had full movement.

Ten minutes.

And here's the thing: she had never studied this work. She didn't know a single energy balance point before that day. She didn't need to. Her body knew what to do the moment she gave it a little attention.

She got totally excited. The workshop she'd come to had already ended, but I told her she could still take it by replay. And I said, "I've got an upcoming five-week course."

She goes, "Really? Tell me about it."

By the time we were done talking, she was planning a conversation with her partner about doing it together. I'm more than okay with that. I held up a copy of the manual on the screen and said, this is what you get to study.

Here's what I love about this story.

You don't have to know it all yet.

You don't have to know all 26 Jin Shin Jyutsu energy balance points. You don't have to have read the manual from cover to cover. In five, ten, fifteen minutes, this is how much change you can make in your body.

And then you learn even more. And guess what? Then you're a better partner with your body.

That's exactly what the five-week course is. Five live evening classes on Zoom, replays available, and the manual - the Energy Balancing Care Guide - comes with it. You show up curious. Your body does the rest.

We start Wednesday, October 21.

What could change for you in ten minutes? You don't have to know it all yet. You just have to begin.
